We will visit 2 cenotes and 1 hacienda (beautiful historic building) on this Mayan jungle adventure day and will probably (hopefully) have them all to ourselves (depending on the season and day) or at least not find a crowd in them. (Perfect for families, couples, groups of friends and solo travelers).
The first is a cavern cenote, with sapphire blue water (not cold) from where we will appreciate to the bottom of it. The second cenote is a perfectly shaped open circle with incredible emerald water surrounded by trees.
Enjoy the impressive views of these rock formations with millions of years while you swim, explore, float, jump from almost 10 meters! (only for the most adventurous) or simply relax in each of these cenotes taking photos.
Finally, you will enjoy a traditional regional meal made over firewood and prepared by the Mayan community ($200 pesos MXN/ 10 dlls pp not included)

We had the first cenote to ourselves and the second had only a few others. The lunch made by a Mayan family was delicious. The stop at an old hacienda was brief but just the right amount of time for a child who had swam himself to exhaustion. Highly recommend this experience!"
